Hi! My name is Teela Venice. I am the owner of empowHER! I have actively participated in health and fitness for over half of my life. In all of that time, the industry has been male-dominated. It isn’t the fault of men, but rather how society has framed the way women “should be”. Women are taught to be small, nice, beautiful, thin, quiet, agreeable, modest, meek, humble, and the list goes on and on. These are not all bad attributes, but I believe women can, and should, be so much more than what they’re told to be!

Here at ”empowHER boutique gym for women”, my goal is to EMPOWER every woman that walks in the door in whatever way they may need. My heart aches for every woman who has ever been made to feel like she wasn’t enough because of the way she looked or more simply because she’s a female. My clients are entrepreneurs, caregivers, leaders, mothers, friends, mentors, and endless other types of humans. They come to me already amazing but sometimes they can’t see or feel it in themselves. My goal every day is to make every woman I have the honor of working with feel strong, beautiful, and most of all empowered to do anything she sets her mind to.

This isn’t simply a place to work out, this is a place to come and rest in the peace of being yourself surrounded by other women trying to do the same. There is a place for you here.
